In Denmark, only 1-2% of the nature is wild, resulting in a massive lack of habitats and nourishment for the endangered Danish insects.

Challenge

The bees are saved

IKEA’s most popular product of all time is the Swedish meatball. First, they served them to the meat-lovers. Then the vegetarians. And with the massive biodiversity crisis in Denmark, it’s time to cater to a whole new audience. So in collaboration WWF, we made Swedish Seedballs – a meal you can plant for endangered insects.

 

The campaign is part of “Denmark’s Wild Gardens” – a larger initiative that aims to inspire and engage Danes in the fight for more biodiversity.
